They are not justified! Are You?

‘We are with what has happened in Paris’.

WHAT? SERIOUSLY?

‘This is what Islam teaches’.
OKAY, SO YOU LIE IN THE NAME OF RELIGION.

PRAISE BE TO ALLAH(Subhana wa ta’ala)!

The hurtful act of brutality that has taken place in France has put the masses in the most confused state.  Our mind freezes as to how we should react to such an event. Let us begin by saying that what has happened has no justification, no religious justification; without any confusion no justification at all. Criminals are criminals no matter what their faith is, what their religion is, the community they belong to, or the region they live in. They are equal before the eyes of the law and they are equal before the eyes of the Ummah, the Muslims.  If they commit a crime they are guilty equally.

Allah (Subhana wa ta’ala) says in the Quran (4:135):

Sahih International: O you who have believed, be persistently standing firm in justice, witnesses for Allah , even if it be against yourselves or parents and relatives. Whether one is rich or poor, Allah is more worthy of both. So follow not [personal] inclination, lest you not be just. And if you distort [your testimony] or refuse [to give it], then indeed Allah is ever, with what you do, Acquainted.

So it is completely clear that killing people in the name of religion is no religion at all. We as Muslims are embarrassed and humiliated because we share a name with them who claim to be Muslims and this is enough humiliation in itself.

Our Prophets (Peace be upon them) have been made fun of in their lives, when they were alive and could see what was happening against them. Our own Prophet Muhammud (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) was cursed and insulted on his face ample number of times and he with humbleness did not lose that smile from his face. One Such incident where He (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) forgave a Bedouin who tried to kill him and the Sahabas (May Allah be pleased with the All) did not go against it (I Quote below).

Allah (Subhana wa ta’ala) in the Quarn in Surah Al-Imran says that if you could response with sabr and you could have Taqwa. Keeping all this aside and doing such inhuman act is clear stupidity, ignorance, brainlessness. Some amongst us who are heading in the wrong direction but are Muslims, support such acts. What they really should do is take that Quarn which is in dust by now completely and spend some time with it. Read it, understand it. And have a better and clearer picture. Want to know why you love the Prophet (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) and what should be your response to such terrifying acts. For that read the seerah of the Prophet (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) .

The second bombardment onto the Muslim is the hateful speech, the hateful cartoons and videos made against our beloved Prophet (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam).  These things are insulting. And any people including Muslims when they are insulted, when things they hold sacred is insulted they have the right to be offended. We have this very right. But these two are two different issues. They say that since you are against the killing that means you should have an open mind view to the animosity. Be a moderate Muslim is what they want.

Let us just make this clear it is not that simple for an Islam follower to be a Mulsim.  We have the right to get offended. Because we have imaan and love for our Prophet (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) we have all the right to get offended. But the offensive nature leads to the reaction and the reaction is what holds the most important position. How should the response be like is the question here. And the answer is really simple. React in a way that is pleasing to Allah(Subhana wa ta’ala). The reaction has to submit to the guidance of Allah (Subhana wa ta’ala) and the Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam). The feeling that spring up within you is justifiable but the reaction may not.

Now the solution to this is that we have to change ourselves to change their thinking. What happened in the past with the Prophet (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) had a different reason. The people at that time were afraid because of the spreading of Islam. They wanted to stop it because Islam was thoughtful, it was eye opening, young people were gravitating; because it was too powerful.

Today the situation may be the same but the reasons are somewhat different. Today Muslims do not possess basic human decency which was taught by our Prophet (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam). People associate ugliness, dirty being, unhealthy environment with the Ummah today. The streets you live in, your business practices, your corrupt governing practices are all which is to be changed to have that bigger change for which we are all ready to have agitations. We talk about world justice and have a blind eye to our home injustices is clear double standard. Give your wives, your parents, your society, your state the rights that they have and then see how people get attracted towards you.  Allah (Subhana wa ta’ala) says that you will be at the most superior level as long as you are a true believer, which we aren’t. So stop refusing to look in the mirror. Face yourself to face the world. Allah (Subhana wa ta’ala) says that HE will not change your state until you change yourself.
The greatest threat of Islam was not the force, not the sword. But the greatest threat was the power of its ideas, as it being the religion of reason, religion of thoughts. The Quran is the ultimate reality.

People will not stop they will come up to you, let them, ask them to bring the evidence, challenge their views, and then with all humbleness, and respect as our Prophet (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) would have done, tell them the TRUE RELIGION.
