Indeed, with hardship comes ease.

While I stress over my problems with my hair turning grey,

My heart is at ease, for Allah’s help is just a prayer away.

As I mourned over my painful defeats and sorrowings,

I battled them believing, “..surely Allah has power over all things.”

..

..

When drenched in financial distress and constant insecurity,

Qur’an says, “No person is charged with more than his capacity.”

I recall the words while walking with broken ties and friendships,

“Allah intends for you ease and does not intend for you hardship.”

..

..

My heart comforts me as I doubt my plans through the scanners,

“But they plan, and Allah plans. And Allah is the best of planners.”

With my dreams shattered, hopes lost and life giving no clue,

Qur’an reminds me, “But perhaps you hate a thing and it is good for you..”
